What Our Fosters Do

Fostering is a challenging, but rewarding experience. Our fosters are individuals who have decided to put in the time and effort it takes to assist these street dogs in whatever manner they can.

To become a foster with Pause Contact Us to receive and fill out the required foster form. Once you have filled out a form we will review and get back to you as soon as possible. We try to match up every foster with a dog that fits their home and personality.

Fosters are responsible for the upkeep and management of our dogs, such as: getting them to and from vet appointments, administering monthly preventatives, bringing to and from adoption events, and coordinating with Pause members. As much as possible we provide everything a foster may need from collars, beds, and food; to kennels, medicines, and grooming. This is mainly done through donations, both monetary and individual items that our community brings in.
